Welli have a 95 integra gsr, just put in a new donut and took off the heat shell and its rattles and idea what it could be? thanks.

 

It could be your other heat shields or you might just have to tighten your exhaust bolts a little more. I mention both because I've had rattles before due to these two things.

There are other heat shields besides the one around the cat. My latest rattle was from one of the heat shields by the "s" shaped exhaust pipe. It was rubbing against the heat shield so I just had to bend it back a little bit.

 

Get down there and look at whats making noise

could be a bad resonator, but that causes more of a pinging sound at idle

 

na it just rattle at 3rpm idk i already took off one heat shell

 

there are 2 on your header, and heat shields running the length of your exhaust

I have the gsr header also, its the header. I heard theres 2 pipes that are going down to the exhaust and those are loose. Some people i heard just spot weld them. Mine rattles to at 3k rpm but haven't had any time to weld anything lately.

 

Yea probably it might be the header any more ideas?

 

not sure if i understand what ur talkin about but if i do, it could be loose or rusted clamps to hold piping together...or hangers that are loose, rusted or just simply not on right...sorry if this doesn't help
