Default D16 into accord???

Hey all,

Wondering if a d16 could be fit into an accord.

If so where would I find mounts/basic swap info?

May be a dumb question, but my friend who owns a 94 accord wants to buy my built Y8.

TIA

Bobby

you ahve to make it all up on your own since i dont think anyone has been dumb enough to do that swap. Im not trying to be mean...but think about it...f22 with 140lb/ft of torque and 135-145 hp...compared to...well i know a d16 makes a lot less torque which is needed to move a heavy accord.

Well...it's not me that is trying to do the swap..I just want my cash...This kid wants the motor and if it's built for boost and ends up making 300whp wouldn't it be worth it then?

Replacing a 2.2 with a 1.6 in no way makes sense.

An accord is not an formula 1 car by any means, but formula cars have swapped from larger NA motors to smaller turbo motors. So it could work out for him and d16 seem to be the cheapest swaps to get close to 300 hp.
