I heard the same, thinner guage material used in the stampings compared to the OE ones. Anyone confirm this?

confirmed, they are week.

the OEM stuff you can use as a jacking point. My buddy installed a non-oem one on his commuter, tried to jack it up and that sucker bent with the quickness.

but for a race car, there great. Its lighter then the OEM but not as strong. Its one way of dropping the weight.

Evan,

I used a Certifit core support on the Integra.

Fit/Finish was great, very similar construction, if not identical. Works great. We can jack up there no problem, but maybe not as strong as original. We jack up with the skidplate anyway.
