whats that thing called?

whats that one thing called that we replace our sri or cai with? is it a air filter?

the air filter is what goes after the piping of either the sri or cai?

it's the filter i guess. get a k&n one so no need to replace, just clean

Wow...you have no car knowledge at all. Maybe you are talking about the resonator? Nobody is really sure because you remove your stock "airbox" (which for the time being we will just say is the entire intake system from the TB on) and replace it with a straight piece of pipe with an air filter on the end.
