Bought H&R springs need help
Well I bought some h&r springs 2.5" drop all the way around . When i putt the spring on the stock strute the spring is 2 small and there a gap but when i lowered it everything thing looks compressed good. Is it suposed to be like this anyone else riding around on h&r springs?
This is normal. When off of the vehicle, the shock is fully decompressed. There is never a time during the operation of your vehicle where you ever run out of shock travel like that. If your suspension is ever at full droop it is either:
A) Up on a lift / jackstands.
or
B) Plummeting off a cliff.

here are some pictures i this the camber is way off my g/f hit a curb and i installed the springs before i take it into alignment.
notice the top of the tie is kicking out and the bottom is pointed in. She hit the curb at 50 and went over it.

The lower control arm was screwed and i replaced it. Along w the front end.Grrr.
