Default oil change

Hey guys just recentely got an 06 used and love the car. My oil change light came on and I'm thinking of changing the oil myself with Full syntechic. Any sugestions on this matter and also how do I recet the oil wrench light to off. Anybody selling a used manual, I could use one.

Turn the ignition to lock, then hold the trip button while you turn the ignition on until it goes out

*edit

might be different for an 06, search a bit.

Why? An oil change at the Honda dealer is like $20. Are you poor or something?

well honda doesnt use a syn oil so go ahead and use teh same cheaper oil that the rusty cd civic has next to you in your s2

or do it yourself with good oil for 30-40

and its more then 20 for a oil change at honda. the s2 used more oil the your avg civic so they charge you more.

also check your oil level i think the oil light only comes on if ur oil pressure is low. If so add some oil asap b4 u fucck something up.

why?

Just take it to a reputable shop and make sure they use the right oil and filter. Don't take it to a jiffy lube, gas station service, etc.

True that but if they are tools like at my local honda dealer, they will take your S out and go bust mad tyte JDM drift moves.

Last time I was in there the service guy was bragging to me how he had their 08 CR completely sideway on the main street in front of the dealer.

Salesmen are no better... except they don't know how to drive. Ask me how I know.

??? what about the drain pan that has to go under the car. I guess maybe you could put a skinny pan under there if the car was stock height. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Black S2K &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

He said the oil change light. The one with a wrench. The yellow one. Not the red oil lamp light.

half of you are noobs on here and dont know jack about your cars....he is talking about the maintenance minder light, and dealerships do offer synthetic, you just have to pay more for it like you would elsewhere...also, most dealerships dont have "cheapo" oil, i dont see anything wrong with valvoline oil, and "Honda" oil is just standard mobile oil.
