just recently purchased a set of jdm eg6 stanley clear foglights. when i wired it, for some reason it wont go on. and figure out that the bulbs were dead.
just wondering what size and watt do i neeed to replace these suckers?

Double check your wiring

 

anything more than 60 watts wont last very long. i had 100w's for a few weeks, then went to the 60's after one burnt out. they get too hot. but the 60w bulbs arent very bright.

 

Don't just tap into your parking light wiring. wire up a relay and power it off a direct 12 volts from battery.

 

im pretty sure its the bulbs becasue i directed the wire to a bulb i had on the side and it turned on

yea it states h3 bulb but it also says HID, so im confused.

If you're that confused, then just go to an autoparts store and buy some H3 bulbs.

 

Sometimes too much resistance in a line will burn your bulbs out faster. Like having them wired off wiring for another light. Stock wiring is meant only to power whats already connected to it.
