B16A2 Emissions
Hello. I'm new to Hondas. I'm trying to learn though. I have a 89 si,with a Hmotors b16a2 swap. Well, the guy who i got it from, didn't know hondas either obviously cuz the emission hoses are all wrong. There's vaccum lines ran every which way but the right way. So,when I was hunting for a diagram,1 popped up on this site,BUT, I can't get to it,site experied. So,my question is does anyone know how these lines should be ran?? Any help would be kick a$$!!!
Will someone please oh please for the love of god, help point me in the right direction. Someone here knows what to do on the emissions. Come on guys..lol please???
The fact of the matter is that OBDI motors have next to no vacuum lines. So if there are TONS of them, then something is not right. There should be a small line from the intake manifold to the pressure regulator, a larger line from the throttle body to the charcoal canister, a small line from the manifold to the purge valve, and a small line from the purge valve to the charcoal canister. That's it. Oh, and SOME JDM motors DON'T have a purge valve. In this case, a small line can be run from the manifold directly to the charcoal canister.
If, on the other hand, the motor is running OBD0, then things are somewhat more complex. Unfortunately, I don't really know OBD0 too well. So I couldn't really inform you here.

Well, I have no clue on this, but i'm going to fix it!!! I don't have a charcoal cannister for 1. 2..i don't even know where the pcv vavle goes on this motor. I put my cold air on,and when i did..i ran a line from the kit,to the valve cover. Now,i'm looking at more than 6-8 vacuum lines. Is there any info out there on this? Free info, and not a mitchell or alldata thing, cuz i do not have access to that.
