earlier today my friend sprayed down his motor w/ a water hose (he wanted to cool it down faster). anyway, after he let his car cool down, he started it and it would hesitate and die when he would try to accelerate. it kinda sounded like it was bogging out. he thinks its because he wet the alternator.
what could it be?
can you guys help us out?

What do you mean"he wanted to cool it down faster"??? So the motor was hot and he sprayed water on it??


He probably wet the dizzy/wires and now the spark is arking!!

Remove the cap and dry the inside...probably moisture.


Bogging has nothing to do with alternator
