Default OT: Is this the sickest car available anywhere?

There are a handful of these cars stateside already.

From what I understand, you have to order a brand new E90 328i to your specifications here in the US, then drop it off at Turner Motorsports, then write a check for $100,000.00 (not including the cost of a new 3 series), and, then patiently wait 10 to 12 months for your Hartge H50 V10 to arrive from Germany.

This video has a Hartge E60 M5 camera car in it that can barely keep up with the H50 once they get on the autobahn. Having driven an E60 M5, I can only imagine what this thing is like, considering it's 600 lbs lighter than an M5. There are also 2 stages that of mods available from Hartge that can be purchased at an additional cost.

I don't know about anyone else, but to me it would be priceless to have a sleeper like the H50.

I guess a stage II 600hp Hartge H50 V10 would be the sickest car available anywhere in a "I have a $160,000 328i that flat out smokes ****" kinda way.

That's a serious BMW. Very nice! And this is coming from someone who absolutely hates BMW.

Still think the new GTR could make lunch meat out of it though

Thanks for sharing .... now I just have to learn whatever language was in the second video ... German maybe? I should know this ... my g/f's a **** ...!

Thank you, but I'm fully aware of the Veyron, and, other mega high dollar cars, accesible only to pot bellied Arab Shieks.

But for the Price of 911 Turbo, the H50 V10 puts down exotic car performance numbers in an unassuming everyday car, that's invisible to the untrained eye. And can be serviced in the BMW dealer network. So yeah, it's pretty f*ckin sick!

I'm sorry but if I'm dropping that much cash it'll be on something that doesn't have a damn swapped motor...

on second thought, why the 328? cost reasons? i would think if people were going for this, cost wouldn't be an issue... if that were the case, why not use the M3... shouldn't that have more structural rigidity?

thank you... kill me if I'm wrong but I thought the idea of spending a grip on a car was so you could have something without some janky BS motorswap.

Besides most yuppies lease their new 3 series anyway.

I'm sorry.

it's nice, but I'd most likely spend my money on something else.

Six figures for a 3-series? Don't care if it has a quad-turbo V12--I'd never pay that much for any bimmer.

I was all about orange until I saw the black w/ orange wheels on the road last year. Looked ridiculous.

BTW, sickest car = 599

Default Re: (LUCKY CHARMS)

they lost me with front-engine and an ugly prototype. I love the original design. (it just needed a GT42R and matching brakes).

I don't like GM, and I find 'vettes ugly, but I'm interested in seeing if the General finally has the ***** to make a MR C7.

the bimmer's impressive, if overpriced/overweight. the GT3 is nice, but for far less $ I'd take a well-built K24 hatch that would keep-up nicely with either, be more reliable, cheaper and easier to maintain. or, swap a built K24 into an Elise/Exige.
