looking for people that have experience with competition clutches for their d/d.
recently put a stage one in my car, and i dont know if its supposed to have this much chatter. pulling out in 1st and in reverse, the chatter is so loud, sounds like my half shaft is falling out or something.
two of my friends have ordered clutch kits from competition, and both of them were in mislabled boxes. (they ordered a stage 4, box said stage 5)
i have a stage 1 kit, 6-puck sprung disc, stock flywheel. idk if it matters, but its in a '00 ej8 with a b16a2 and 98 spec gsr trans.
clutch and trans were put together correctly, all bolts torqed to spec, flywheel resurfaced, clutch broken in correctly, etc.
never seen/driven a stage one with this much chatter. my friends dc4 with a stage 3 clutchmasters doesnt have this much chatter.

opinions on this? other stage one owners have the same chatter? perhaps i got the wrong pressure plate? also this is the only stage one kit that i've seen that comes with a 6 puck disc...
