Default stuck with finding the right motor

right now im stuck between the type S motor and the b16a. there is quite the price difference but im wondering if the potential for the k20 for power is worth the price. i want to have an all motor street monster. money is and isnt an object. if justifiable i will spend the extra amount but if not then i will go with the b16. opinions would be great thanks!

are you serious?? a K will eat a b16 every day for lunch and then some. They just cost more to swap in etc but make far more power.

170 to 195?...yea out of the box but i do plan mod down the line. which is why im asking. since the k20 is newer it will cost more to modify and swap. which is why im asking is it worth to spend the extra money? opinions is what im looking for...

worth lies in the eyes of the spender.

if you have the money, the answer is obvious.

170? what b16 are you talking about? 195? what K are you talking about?

You don't even mention torque which is a huge difference. Do you want an engine that will rev or do you want an engine that will make power?

Like everyone else said, there is no comparison between a k20 and b16a.

86 mm > 77mm all day, everyday.

This is the most rediculous thread this month...

Hmmm.... should I get the K20 or the B16...? I can't make a decision.

If money isn't an issue, I think the answer should pretty much come out and slap you in the face.
