Default how to put springs and retainers in a ls head???

i got the tool to do it but i just can't get the key in with the springs @ retainers lmk how to do


will this work to do the job ?

"key"??? I'll assume you are talking about the spring retainers, but they are fairly easy to put in....push the valve spring way down and drop the retainers in the groove on the valve. Its fairly easy once you get the hang of it.

put grease or vaseline on your retainer clip.... it will stick their like a bugger on a wall... good luck

No, that will not work. You need this:

There is a cheaper non-snap-on that is about $80 or so....can be bought on amazon and a few other websites. I bought mine direct from snap on and swear it was the same exact tool (given it appears snap-on updated theirs so thats not true anymore).

yes you probably can. but i would opt for harbor freight lol...im sure you can find it somewhere. and MAN you are impatient...

I doubt it, none of the local shops around here had one when I was looking....given that was multiple years ago before imports were possibly the best selling car in America...but I would still doubt that they have one.

Try Sears, they will have one and it will be cheaper

Also, I am not sure how the expletives help explain the situation.
