I was just wondering if anyone knew the policy on Firestone's Lifetime Alignments. I keep getting the run around from them every time I bring my car in for an alignment. They wouldn't adjust my camber kit the first time I brought it in so I adjusted it and brought it back two weeks later. Now they say they won't touch my alignment cause my wheel bearings are bad so I told them to get me the numbers at least and my camber is at like -1.3 on both front sides. They really **** me off.
most places wont do one if theres alot of play in the wheels. from bad tie rods or wheel bearings
I had the lifetime alignment too, the story they gave me was after i lowered the car I voided my warranty becuase I "destroyed" the alignment and its un-alignable. They always tell me that they can't align it becuase they don't have the specs for it anymore. I remind them that lowering the car does not "destroy" anything and THAT THEY SOLD ME THE LIFETIME ALIGNMENT WHEN MY CAR WAS SLAMMED!!
It usually takes me about 20-30 mins of arguing to get them to do it every 6 months or so.. its rediculous how much they don't want to work....
