Default HELP!

So im 16 and recently bought a 98 civic dx coupe. and i came across a knocking/rattling sound when i turn in my front left wheel, and its only gotten worse in the 2 months that i ve had my car.

It only makes a sound when i make a left turn and accelerate through, but its fine if i keep my clutch down or just coast through. any ideas on what it is? i know theres probably another thread somewhere that can relate to this. but yeah, any feedback would be great!

thanks,

tjay.

your axle is shot. inspect your left side and see when it goes into the hub the is a rubber boot i bet its torn up and **** and rocks have gotten in there and expletiveed it all up.

inspect the rs as well for cracks in the boot to prevent another blown axle

yeah inspect your drive axle boots to see if they are torn. They probably will be, but I doubt the damage is too major. You can either purchase new axles or refurbish your existing ones. I suggest buying a haynes manual and refurbishing your existing axle if the damage isn't too bad.
