91 si/turbo gsr swap fitment

Default 91 si/turbo gsr swap fitment

I was just wondering if anyone has put a turbo gsr motor into an ef engine bay. ive been looking at the motor next to the engine bay, and im not so sure i got room for it...

The only thing your going to have an issue with is that wastegate...get a half size radiator and you should be ok..the wastegate with a full size rad. Will hit like I said other than that you should be fine

Just like any turbo B in an ED chasis......Itll fit, just not with the fullsize radiator with the manifold and wastegate you have.

yeah, i got the fluidyne that was in the gsr as well, but its too tall to fit in there, i think.

depending on what mounts you have it's definitely is not going to with the stock intake manifold.

it looks like your wg is dumping into the intake of the turbo.

yeah, the guy before me had straight pipes on it and it was dumping just about straight into the air filter... but im gonna spin it around when i put it back together and get a downpipe to the exaust system i already got..

i don't think it is the stock intake mani...

umm yes that is the stock intake manifold i would i know i have a jdm gsr in my ef hatch and i had to use a aebs intake manifold because the stock intake manifold didn't fit

HCP mounts and the GSR motor with the stock intake manifold will fit but its pretty damn tight...

I did change out the intake manifold due to a turbo soon to be installed...

I have a 1989 Ef with a jdm b18c with the hasport mounts and used to have the stock intake manifold and it did fit but it was really tight. I changed to the Skunk2 IM looking for a few extra ponies...

i have that manifold on my crx and it fits fine matter of fact i put it on with the motor still in the car
