Default S2000 head + F22B2 block ???

Is it possible to put an S2000 F20 head on a Accord F22B2 block ? I was reading on this forum about putting the H22 head on the F22 block. I heard somewhere that it was possible to put the F22 block and F20 head together.!? They are both F series. I was also wondering if the whole S2000 F20 long block will bolt to a front wheel drive transmission, H or F series ?

the only thing the motors have in common is the F at the front of the code. they are not in the same engine family. they don't even spin in the same direction.

F20C found in an S2K is more like a K series then an F series.

Your thinkin of the old F20B found in older accords and preludes. completly diffrent motors.

Dont know why honda called the s2k motor a F20C. Should of been K20C. I bet someone made a typo in the construction plans.
