Default B20vtec help! car runs like crap.

hello honda-tech,
first of all i am new here but been around the honda scene since it boomed.
i think you guys are great. i have a dilemma

i just swapped in my B20vtec build into my 96 civic hatchback.
nothing too fancy the build is basically stock. it was running on my crx about 6 months ago flawlessly. heres the thing. my car runs like total **** and i dont know whats the problem anymore. i think it runs really rich cuz when i took out the spark plugs, i could smell fuel on it and it was wet. it has a hard time idling also. fuel pressure is good reading about 42psi. it also has a new distributor. the only check engine light it throws is iat and o2 sensors. the car was originally automatic so i had to extend some wires and did the 2 wire iacv and convereted my car to obd1 with a jumper. my ecu is also good cuz it is a chipped p28 with a basemap.tps and map sensors are good as it doesnt throw any codes and the tps is well calibrated still in its factory position. tried changing injectors but the problem still persisted. im running out of ideas and im thinking it might be electrical problem. can anyone chime on this?
opinions will be greatly appreciated so please feel free. if you have any more questions just ask me. thank you guys.

try running the p28 at factory spec. (meaning take the jumper off that allows it to read from the external rom).

I've got a b20vtec setup in my car and it ran lean on every ecu I threw at it because of the added displacement. I'd say its probably the map your running.

when you converted it to a 2 wire iacv, did you do the proper changes at the ecu? also, obd2-obd1 conversion harnesses are disigned to work with the EX 5spd models, so sometimes a couple changes need to be made to work on automatics or DX models.
make sure you did the iacv conversion properly.

also since it's going to into an obd2 car, does your b20 have the sensor in the oil pump? i think it's the kcp sensor or something like that? if it doesn't you'll have to bypass that too.

im not sure if you got this fixed, but if you are getting iat and o2 codes those are the first places to look. if your iat or o2 sensor are bad the ecu will automatically compensate not knowing what the proper mixture is by running a FULL RICH program as both are used to calculate air/fuel mixtures by the ecu.
