Default 13:5.1?? too much??

I have a 2001 Integra GS-R
Mod list:Mugen style intake, dc 4-2-1 header, Skunk racing intake manifold, ACT street clutch,ACT flyweel ,crower valve springs ,Crower retainer ,Skunk 2 stage 3 cams , Cam gears ,Aem fuel rail ,Aem fuel regulator ,aem fuel filter ,330cc injectors, eagle rods, je 9:1 forged pistons and Hondata s300 computer and tuned.
I have 182 WHP and 130 WTQ. I was looking to buy some 13:5.1 compresion pistons but many people have told me that 13:5.1 its too much for a daily driver.

I am looking for 220-250 whp and my bank is at $1,000 dollars

Is this true or should i get 12:5.1 instead or should i just turbo it.. plz help

1st off, yes 13.5:1 is way high for a daily driver unless you plan on running e85. i'd say: if you already have low compression internals. just boost her. one less time you gotta tear the engine out.
good luck.

13.5.1 is to high for 93 octane or I should say to high to obtain the advantages of using that high of a compression with 93 octane...stick with 12.5.1 it will compliment your setup well

stage 3 cams is alot for the 9:1 compression.
i say BOOST with those big *** cams. if not don't go over 13 points on the compression or ask the guy who will be tunning your car.
boost will get you to your hp goals right away. n/a will require alot more tweeking than just swapping pistons alone.
still good power for such low compression

This seems a little hard to believe, why go lower compression than stock?

11.5:1 is what I would shoot for.

the previous owner was running on nitrous and it had stock cams and didnt have the hondata s300. I removed the nitrous system and was planing to go all motor thats why I bought the stage 3 cams but now I dont know i think I should slap the stock cams, sell the stage 3 and make my self a turbo kit and boost the B18c1. it will be more bang for the buck.

its an easier tune for boost when you run lower compression. you have more space to tune for fuel and timing with a lower comp.

naw...no problem. grab a turbo off a vehicle in the yard and throw it on your ride. you will have to put some effort into fabrication and creativity but youll have a turbo vehicle. find deals on ht and be smart about your cash. forget about an FMIC or hit up ebay. up to you but you should not have a problem for a G
