ok here is the deal evry time i take it in for a oil change its only put out 1.5 qt of oil. not thing is leaking cuz i got all brand new seal for the engine. i been 10 30w casrol syn tec oil and its still burning i try to up it with 10 40 and it seem it still does the same thing help me out cuz i cant figure out where the oil is going.... and my car has its org si engine with 221000 mile on it help ........

 

All Brand new seals meaning "easy to get to gaskets" or full rebuild?

Your motors eating it, either through the rings, or your valve guids in your head are shot and its pissing through that. are you blowing any smoke?

How long is it in between your oil changes? how fast is it consuming the oil?

221000 is a nice chunk of miles the motors tired and worn, u cant expect it to not burn oil.

 

no there is no smoke at all i mean in the morning has a lil cuz its cold but other that none at all. i just got new seal cuz when i first got it it was leaking oil from the crank so now that is fix there is no leak what so ever and i change my oil evry 3000 to 3500

 

In the morning after it sits over night it smokes a lil bit? Then its your valve seals in the head.

When there shot they shrink from sitting (like over night) when all the oil drains outa em, when u start up they start to get soaked with oil again and swell up, there still leaking just not even to smoke.

 

well my vavle seal has been replace too and it doesnt smoke like that i mean out the exaust in the morning till it warm up itll stop smoking cuz all the car does that but i think your right its just eating oil but do you think an oil catch can will let me know if it is getting into my intake manny and burning that way cuz after a couple week the back of my car is black

 

Rings. Period. Just plain worn out.

You can still get good compression and have bad oil rings and get blowby.
