need help on finding transmission fuild insert pipe

Default need help on finding transmission fuild insert pipe

where is the transmission pipe to check fuild for honda civic 97 stick shift... cuz i been searching around the firewall and front and could not find it. please help me thankz

if you looking for a dip stick on a 5speed there is not one but you add fluid threw the hole were the speed sensor goes

Umm. there is a Fill and drain bolt on your manual trans. The fill Bolt you can find by being on the side of the trans. . The drain bolt should be on the bottom. to check the fluid, raise the car take out the fill bolt and the fluid level should be to the fill bolt (so if you put your finger in the hole HEHEHE, the fluid should be to the hole.) The fluid will smell really nasty. The hardest part of this is adding the fluid if your under the car. I heard you can attatch different size hoses from the top of the engine bay (make an extension out of hoses so you can add from your standingup not being under your car all crampt up.) The fill bolt is on the right side of the trans next to the cv axle. Im not exactly sure the change interval but I think its 60k.

Also the capacity is 1.9 qt. and its 30k not 60k
