Hello all I havnt been on the site in a loooong time.

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a front lip for my 97 R.I hit a semi truck tire the other day and took off the front left edge of my front lip. Any Ideas ? I know comptech used to carry them but their site has changed. I guess I could try the dealer but I dont want to get raped on the price.

got mine from the acura dealer not to long ago......

 

yeah right. The friggin' bumper is cheaper than the lip through acura...

 

yeah its up there on price but yet it also come painted hit up len he can get u a decent deal on it

I guess the price isn't too bad then if its painted. I may have to consider one as mine is thrashed

You are correct in that they went out of business. However, they were bought and the ball is slowing rolling towards getting everything together from what I hear. *shrugs shoulders.*

Well the part number helped I was under the impression that they didnt have them at the dealer anymore.Ill just see what they tell me as far as price.Thanks for the quick replys!

I could always go get the unpainted as the ole 97 is going in for a refurb this month!

i bought a oem one recently and wished i would of went with comptech.. its so much more durable.. and fits great

from what ive seen in person with two lips i wouldn't say it fits better but for 300 dollars less it fits good enough

Damn I didn't know they were 259 I was misinformed on the price. My bad,, yea I was told they were like 125 shipped lol. I paid close to 400 for my oem one.

 

Will this OEM lip fit a 95 LS or is there a different part number? Also, will the factory hardware work with the Type R lip or does the Type R bumper have different spots for the holes? Thanks!

 

Im pretty sure it will fit any of the 94-97 Integras, I had a friend who put one on his 97 GSR with no problems, You would be better off buying a non-factory IMO because the factory one comes painted and then you'll have tp sand it down and prep it.

PS. I ended up ordering one from an old friend at Acura and it was about $390.00
