Default New pictures from Hawaii (19" wheels are too big, haha)

I'd love to say "Eh, I got bored so I took some crappy pictures". But, truth be told I drove around for about 2 hours looking for a good place to take pictures. I'm no pro, but this is as good as it gets. I'm really diggin' the new finish on these wheels (they were black a few weeks ago). Tell me what you think.

Wheels are 19x8.5 front and 19x10.5" rear. 235s up front and 275s out back. Lowered on KW V3s. I recently took these wheels apart myself and refinished the centers from the Berlina black they were, to this new Iron Grey Mica.

If anybody ever has an questions about refinshing 3pc wheels, let me know and I'll help all I can.

Kolekole Pass

When I was in Hawaii, there were a whole 3 S2000s on the island of Oahu. One crashed while I was there. Good thing it was Sebring.

Add some tech info (mods, wheel specs) before mods jump all over your ***.

Some front end work is next. I was almost settled on the Mugen front splitter, but I'm really leaning to the ASM or Amuse front end now. I know, the front end is killing me. It's not nearly aggressive enough for the wheels. I'm working on it though, I promise.

Wheels need to come down 2 notches...but at least they're HRE's. I wont rip out your little soul for now.

I saw your post on s2ki with the wheel finishing pics. I think that was you, unless someone else worked on the exact same 19" HREs and painted them the exact same color as you.

I think they look good, a bit big, but still looks good. It doesn't give the car a "sleek", go-fast look however.

Like the pics ... the background in the 1st ones is stunning! In terms of the car looks good but again feel the wheels look a bit big, however props for doing it as you like it

the size of those wheels should be on my 350z

nice, HRE , cannot doubt the prestige of those wheels, but might be a little big for my taste esp on a S2000 , but looks great and love the back drop of the pics.

anywho.. to the OP could you post up the link for the refinishing of the wheels? looks interesting.
