Default CLICK NOISE FROM FRONT END?????

I am driving 2002 SI hatch and in the last few days i have developed this weird click. The noise is heard from the left front lower area and is felt in the steering wheel. The noise only happens under normal acceleration in first gear, and sometimes in second gear, when the clutch pedal is just before fully released position. The noise is not heard when sitting still and pushing clutch pedal in and out. Has anyone heard of anything like this??? Any help is MUCH appreciated!!!!

Hey whats up dude, i had the same problem, right before my transmission went out on me...sorry to say, though that may not be the case with you i would get it checked out quick status, on mine it would give a clicking noise at 1000-2000 rpms when i would accel or deccel, then one time i booked it in 2nd gear and my differential went out, at least that what they told me, all the teeth on it were stipped sacandless status, i have it in my car right now, either way go get it checked out quick, before you regret it dude...

Does it only happen while turning? Maybe it's just a bad CV joint.

It doesn't happen when turning just when starting off from a complete stop and normal acceleration.

Do you have a remote starter? My car started clicking when I got a remote starter and when I gassed, braked, clutched, turned on turning signals, etc. It only does that if you are in reservation mode I believe.

How loud is it? Could just be steering rack creak.

I have a TSX, and have the same problem. TSX is built on the Civic/RSX platform. Based on the hundreds of forums posts, the cause is a faulty Clutch MC. I has mine replaced and it fixed the problem for 3 months. Problem still exists. THis is just on band aid Honda avail.
