Default Ebay or Club RSX...

This is for a comparison paper I'm doing for my English class. I am using this site as a source. So if you could leave a post on which you rather choose and why, it would be greatly appreciated. No bashing the other site, please just leave the reason you rather do business with one or the other.

Club RSX FTW

You're buying parts from people who know about them, and not everything is "Ebay JDM". Buying quality parts from fellow tuners and being able to talk about tech ?'s dealing with the parts with people from all over is better than buying something off ebay and getting no tech help at all IMO.

Whatever one comes up with the cheaper price. If clubrsx has the cheaper price on the quality items i'm hitten up crsx but if ebay has the cheaper price on the quality item then i'm hitten up ebay. This is really a hard comparison because you're trying to compare an auction website, which prices vary to a website that sells New items at a fixed rate price. All in all ebay kind of has the higher advantage:

1) You can buy new or used items
2) The prices are not at a fixed rate price (unless it is a buy it now)
3) You can negotiate the price on ebay
4) They actually do have quality items if you know exactly what you are looking for at a cheaper rate.

To be honest i'd hit up ebay because they have cheaper prices (not all the time, but a lot of times). I'd give more but i'm not doing your paper for you sorry.

I definately agree with risktypeS! I usually find out all the info I can on what I am looking for and then find the cheapest price on the product I desire.

Club RSX does however have a lot of stuff in stock ready to ship that is hard to find in other places. Where Ebay is a hit and miss. I had great personal experience on the buying and selling side of Ebay and I knoe that I would get nothing less than exceptional service from CRSX!

High School or College?

Also, seems to be a compare and contrast paper? If I were you, I'd keep it generic to 'auction websites' and 'vender websites'. Then you can use ebay and clubrsx as examples to support your thesis and topic, whatever that may be.

I'd choose Club RSX instead of Ebay. It is very explanatory and well-organized in where things to go, in my opinion. Ebay, on the other hand, is too, but is scattered with thousands of information that can sometimes be inaccurate.

</TD></TR></TABLE>College. Damn, if I was 24 still in High School,I'de hope they would kick me out by then. lol I did keep it generic in the title on my paper, and I am using eBay and CRSX as examples. So I figured given the site I'm on, I'de label it eBay and CRSX. I didn't want to hear a hundred suggestions of where to find the products at. And yes,it is a comparison paper. Honda-Tech is going to be one of my sources, I'm using it as a survey, so I'm hoping to get between 10-20 people to comment on this. Thanks for the help fellas.

Just an FYI, a forum is the worse place to try and get accurate information that can backup a paper.

Yeah, I'd almost instantly flunk someone if they cited and based a paper off of a message forum. That's worse than wikipedia.

That's why I was trying to see exactly what it was that you were doing.

And please make sure you use other webpages than clubrsx and ebay for your information and thesis.

The last place I'de ever expect accuracy from is Honda-Tech I got that from the sites. The three comparison points I covered were quality, price and trustworthiness/reputation. Which made it a very easy paper to write IMO.

Compare/contrast are one of the easiest papers to write well, as long as you focus on what the teacher wants.

When I was grading freshman english papers in college the compare/contrast paper always had the highest averages out of all.

But if you want a true opinion...support the brick and mortar shops. Any place can drop ship, and that's what I dislike about ebay and some other online shops.
