im new here and i build my h22.
but my problem is that im confused about useing high comp pistons becase of FRM
there are many guys here saying that i must resleve the block. but my mechanic says that i can run arias pistons with high comp but stock bore and nothing can go wrong, because they try it and it runs good.
so can some one pleaaaaaaaase help me to get every thing clear.
any help will be appreciated

I don't think he would out right guarentee you that<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by h22_bb4 »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">nothing can go wrong </TD></TR></TABLE>. IF he is dumb enough to say that, get him to put it in writing, and let him build away.
What year is your h22? I believe h22a1's are okay, they started using the FRM with the H22a4's. There are certain manufacturers whose pistons will work with the FRM; I'm not sure if Arias is one of them, but the one's usually talked about here on HT are Mahle Gold's.
all H series have FRM.
my advice is to find another mechanic who doesnt guarantee that nothing will happen.
JE, Mahle, and JUN make FRM compatible pistons. At the point right now, i would only trust JUN but that is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
