Weighed the stock manifold and A-pipe vs the JDM 4-1 Header.

Stock = 26 pounds
JDM 4-1 = 17 pounds

 

Suprising.

 

Hmm. I thought that the JDM would be lighter than that. That sucks.

 

Anybody know what the Spoon header weighs?

 

9 pounds ain't bad.

I didn't weigh the cats but there was a couple of pounds there too.

 

Is that including heatshield?

 

nope, didn't weigh my heat shiled. can't weigh more than a pound or 2 and that doesn't count the stock heatshield either.

That weight is without both headshields right?

I believe spoon lists theirs at 6.9KG and the stock jdm one as 11.5KG.

 

yes both without heat shields. I woudl say they are a wash.

If I recall correctly 2.2 pounds = 1kg which means they rate the JDM header a little on the heavy side but they either do that to rate theirs better or have over rated theirs as well.

 

Yup 2.2lbs = 1kg

 

So the Spoon should weigh in just a bit over 15lbs. to the JDM 4-1.

 

14.4 pounds to be a little more precise...
