you can get the Delphi injectors dirt cheap if you buy in big bulk. since its on ebay, i dont doubt they are selling them for 50 bucks a piece.

usually not. a lot of people use the ford motorsport 1600's because they are cheap.

RC injectors > every other injector. take that for what its worth

I bought a set of delphi 880s. either you buy a fuel rail like mr gasket makesthat is big enough for those injectors or you grind em down to fit in a stock rail.

I'd just get the injectors that fit your motor correctly... the fuel setup on a turbo car isnt something you want to fail or start a leak b/c that can turn into a big problem real quick

well said, the fuel system is no place to be cheap or cut corners.

Definitely interested to know more about this myself. I have heard before what Turbo-charged wrote, RC injectors>than every other injector, but why? Is it because they flow test their injectors, or what? Do they actually make their own injectors?
How far off are most 1600cc injectors as far as flow rates within a typical set? Within a few cc, or more, like 48cc (only 3% of 1600) off?
just wondering if it becomes more important to flow test the larger units.

As mentioned in that thread, it has to do with the scientific laws governing solenoids and their coils, not the modification procedures of the company. It is only the single part #, which is no longer made, that suck.

So, when I paid $100 for my HKS b-series turbo manifold NEW in the japanese-marked plastic since I was the only bidder, that means it was not ligit? Mind you, this was before they were copying parts. Look around Forest, and you'll see you don't have to pay $100+ per injector. Its FAR cheaper to buy 8 injectors and split them between a friend, and not just on ebay.

BTW, the smaller ones are slightly cheaper.

well then it wouldn't have much application to a present-day question now would it?

Look around which forest? A national forest? Who said anything about having to pay $100+ per injector? I'm sure you weren't trying to put words in my mouth, of course.

So I am guessing that this goes with all Delphi injectors. that they will need to be machined or your fuel rail bored over? so wtih that said, spoolinperformance offers these injectors already machined? is that the difference between these and the ebay ones offered?
