hello every one
accord 1990 Exr manual.
i need help my car was running yesterday i was washing my car then i went to wash the motor after that the car doesnt start its just doing the crank please can any one help me what it could be?i clean the plug wire and rotor still its not starting.and if there is water in rotor or plug wire it should do backfire its not doing anything...only when i turn the ignation key i can hear only the engine crank moving.so plzzz if anyone know about it and can tell me what else should i check to start my car.

did you remove the dist cap and blast it out with air or brake cleaner?
Have you pulled the plug wires out of the valve cover to be sure the spark plug wells are not full of water?

 

yes i did everything i think there is no power in coil so for that what do i need to do?the car model is 2.2 1990 exr 4 door accord

 

i have a 90 accord and mine had a long start time i replaced the Engine Coolant Temp Sensor and the problem went away u might want to try that

 

Engine Coolant Temp Sensor ?plz can you tell me where is it install how its look like?

hello i checked there is no spark comming in plug wire and i open the dist cap too there were carbon inside i cleaned it still no spark in plug wire.plz can anyone tell me how to check the coil that its working or not?

 

you fried the coil or the ignitor in the distributor....

 

baisically... get a new distributor.
