Default How to convert Power Steering hose to stainless with AN fittings?

Im half way thru my shave/wire tuck, and i wanna keep PS, but i wanna get rid of the nasty big fat high pressure line that goes to the PS Pump, but i have no clue if stainless steel braided hose will be ok? and also what AN fitting to use on the pump itself, and how to connect the other end of the hose to a smaller metal pipe (maybe hose clamps?) Thanks for any help!

seems like this is gonna be harder than i thought, i thought there is threads in the actual PS pump but there arent any, the whole assembly screws in with 2 bolts hmm.....maybe i can just use clamps? but i really want full AN and braided setup

the power steering rack uses metric fittings. you need 'metric to AN' adapters. to connect a ss hose to your stock hardline, you're going to need to flare it with a flare kit.

in order to know which adapter you need, you need to know the thread pitch/size of those holes in your rack.

theres a lot of info to type out and you really should try to research around here or google

theres a lot of info here. different scenario but same principle

im probably not gonna run the braided line all the way to the rack, just to where the oem rubber line meets the hardline comming off the rack. So i can flare that, and flare the banjo (?) fitting that goes into the top of the power steering pump, unless i can somehow maybe create threads in the actual ps pump, so i can screw in an an banjo fitting...
