idel at 300rps??
hey guys...ive had my b16 ef that i swapped my self for a few months now....today i drove it (its not my daily) just having fun with it and get to a redlight and this thing goes wayyy down the idel literally almost off....now im mad because everything and i mean everything tune up wise was replaced on this motor from iac to spark plugs.....left the red light got some burger king and got back inthe car and started it up and ran fine again....it never did this before anyone have any idea it just boggels me
yeah it did the classic back and forth idel but its on and off with that...i mean like sometimes it just ideal at 300 with out going back and forth....explicative weird

did you mess with the throttle body Screw ? does it idle when the car is hot? When its idling try to close the Screw on the throttle body and see if it goes away.

nah didnt mess with the screw...last time i saw that my buddie ended up using super glue to keep the screw in
.....i didnt replace the iac just cleaned it before swap went in....i dont know though ive seen iac probs before like my old b16 used to have a messed up idel too all the time but this just dont feel like the iac

u should bang vtec in the rain over danhower while catching up to a white hatch who dosent see the two cops turning around ... that will fix it, worked for me
