Ive looked at the pic. thread but still not entirely sure of the benefits or how to go about doing it. Just looking for some info thanks

All it does is relieve crank case pressure or catch blow bys, the more vented the system is, the easier the engine can relieve that pressure. Most popular way now these days is thru the valve cover and returned back into the rear of the block...the design for your catch tank is up to you, there are many designs and alot of them have breathers that lets the air escape out into the atmosphere.
