Default safe 50 shot... or safe 75 shot?

i got a question about my setup, im not really running any aftermarket mods but the only things that i have done are cut out the resonators and took everything below the top air box off. so really its just the top box and filter. i know i know, ima cheap-***. but currently i have been spraying a Zex 50 shot dry. and its pulls nice, but i was just wondering if it would be safe to run a 75 shot on my setup?

anybody shotting a 75 shot? if so what are your mods? and or what did you have to adjust to run in safer? any help is appreciated. thanks

why r u running a dry kit on this motor???? I know for a fact that the rsx are running a in-take fuel pressure regulator so u would need to run a wet kit cause the pressure of the dry kit can't add more fuel into the motor. from my understanding the si are also the same. so becareful

(I just fot my mugen si so correct me if I am wrong)

well dont you call it a dry spray when you only have the nitrous running into your intake?

I have both dry and wet kits, the dry kit is only a filter nitrous kit that uses a spring load to add more fuel to the injector not to the nitrous and w/o an fuel pressure reg. your useless and may blow up that motor... for the wet kit u actually have two units one for fuel and one for nitrous, u have to tape the fuel line for this, but the fuel and nitrous actually mixes making safe for motor that do have in-take fuel pressure regulator. cause it adds the correct mixture of fuel and nos, instead of just nitrous itself.

You should probably return your intake box back to stock. You're drawing in hotter air (worse for nitrous) than you would be with the factory airbox untouched.

A wet kit introuduces fuel with the nitrous, a dry kit introduces nitrous only. Thats IT. It isn't 100% necessary to increase fuel pressure for EITHER, however if the shot is big enough on a dry system you'll probably want to. I don't think you should be worrying about it with a 50 shot.

I'm really having trouble reading what you mean in your posts though, so who knows.

I have my intake the same way.. your not gonna get to much hot air off the tranny.. i left the other tubes in place that draw the air up to the airbox.. .. there are a few ppl running a setup like this.. it adds a few HP and doesnt cost anything

thanks. i know a 50 shot is safe, but im just really wondering if a 75 shot would be pushing it... i saw somewhere on a post someone spraying a 75 shot, but i dont know if he had to adjust timing or anything of that sort.

A 50 shot will be sufficient. DON'T GET GREEDY. That's how you end up with major problems!
