Default 88' si crx seat into 91' crx hf? HeLp!

as we all know, 88 crx seats will not fit 89-91 crx's... i just want to know how some people fabbed up to put these seats in a 91 crx. i came across a cheap 88 si seat and i felt like i shouldnt have passed it up. only problem is i have a 91 hf. how can i put this seat in my car?! i looked at the seat pans and obviously my hf crappy seat is totally different than the si seat, so seat pan swap was a negative, the only thing now i can see that would work is to cut and weld, but i like some ideas first before i mess up a good seat i have this diagram i drew to illustrate what i think might be a good idea. the green pieces are the new slabs of metal to be used as extensions(they will be welded) because the railing is wider on a 88 than a 91. what do you think, it will work?

i wish it was that easy but not only are the 88 crx rails farther apart than the 91 crxs, but the 88 crx rails are heavy dutied riveted (dunno what those things that are holding it are called) sigh....

I would follow this to swap the seat pan. That would work the best.

yeah i looked at that post already and tried it, but where the back seat connects to the bottom seat, where it mounts to is totally off, maybe if i had a si seat pan from a 91 that for sure would work... anyone tried this?! anyone want to trade 88 si pan for 91 !
