the best header you can get for the money for a dc5!
Well hello iam new to this club so i thought i right to share some info for everyone that i can find nothing on the internet or honda/acura forurms.
as iam sure you all know honda makes it best so i have a philosiphy torwards tunning that if you can keep it honda thats the way to go. So when builing my 06 rsx-s i wanted high quality high horspower making parts that were reliable. I started with injen cold air intake and then to a hondata intake manifold gasket. Next to the hot side of the motor the stock k20z1 header is really good along with the cat but like most i wanted more, i seached the threads everyone said dc sports header this and that blah blah blah this thing just like the one i pulled off i wanted a full 4-2-1 header with a new cat, were did i look? the JDM ITR the stock JDM ITR header that came with the k20a motor! i got mine from some idiot on ebay who didnt know what he had for 200 dollars and let me say wow great response to the cat back exhuast system and cold side mods i havent dyno'd yet so no numbers but i do run mid to low 14s on stock tires![IMG][/IMG]

nice support for the 'best header'. unfortunately, it is not the best header for all situations. It may be a nice replacement for stock USDM headers who want to keep a cat, but it shouldn't be labled as the best header.

Okay? Why not race header? I'm sure a race header will have better response than an ITR header.

iam hiting up the dyno shop next month will try to get some befor and after numbers for this header, good thing i still got the oem manifold and cat.
