Default Help For Friend

so im doing this for a friend. He recently bought this "Surge Chip" and was wondering how to install it and if it was a 2 wire or 5 wire install. He also wants to know where to put the chip at.

and yes i did tell him a chip was pointless, and i also searched but found nothing
