i got a civic ex 2000, can't see oil on dipstick, just change my oil 2,000 miles ago. can't seem to figure out what's wrong with it. no leak on garage neither on my exhaust. engine is clean and dry no sign of leak. someone please tell me what's wrong.

 

when u drained the oil. was there a small amount or large amount of oil? how many quarts of oil did u pour in?

 

Pour like a 1/2 quart of oil until you begin to see oil on the dipstick. You are probably running the car with an insufficient amount of oil.

 

You should fill the car with oil until it is at the proper level on the dipstick, and then keep an eye on it to see if it continues to drop. The car might be burning some oil and that is where it is going.

 

valvoline shop changed my oil for me. and i'm not sure how much oil was drained, i saw them pour in liters of oil and showed me the dipstick saying the right amount of oil and i got 2, 000 miles more to get another oil change.
