are the axles wit abs the same as the ones with out abs?
man this sucks my 93 integra rs had an axle problem so i changed both axles well my car has no abs but i got the abs axles they look the same as the ones witout abs other then the ring on the end >well my ?is are the ones wit abs shorter then the ones without ?cuz one day i am going about 70 on HWY and all of sudden my car started to rev all high i thought my clutch went out bt when i pulled over my clutch was fine my right axle was shaking or vibrating and it didint pop out it was wierd at the time then i pushed it in alittle and limped it home.Next day i pulled the axle out and the teeth past the locking ring was worn done to a smooth surface.sorry for a long ? i replaced it it it works ok but everytime i slow down to almost a stop u hear a clunk on the axle>wtff man i am tired of this stuff happening plz anybody help me . abs or non-abs which ones?
Lengths are the same, as you said, only difference is the abs ring. If you installed it wrong, it doesn't matter if you got an axle w/ or w/o abs. The first time you didn't pop the axle in far enough into the tranny and the axle popped out. That's why your rpms reved and the car didn't move, and that's what caused the teeth on the end of the shaft to get eaten up. You better change your tranny fluid, I can guarantee you will have those metal shavings in your tranny fluid. May also want to get a magnetic drain plug to remove the rest of the metal shavings.
wht about the clunk on slowing down?also cuz i have to move my car like in neautral like move it forward in my drive way so my girlfiriends car fits cuz she works nights and i work days.when i move it by pushing it when i start pushing it about a couple inchs then theres like a big clunk like something hoped orjumped out of place but its drive able and only sumtimes when i turn it does tht clunk nosie like it wants to pop out i dont under stand the axle is in as much as it can about 1 fourth of an inch from the tranny i even gressed up the wheel bearings with bearing gresse i dont understnad any tips on how to put the axles in or how to make they are in?
When I install an axle I always hit the wheel end w/ a 3 lbs sledge hammer just to make sure its in all the way. You know the ring has seated when it is almost impossible to remove the axle by hand. Most times you will need a big screw driver or pry bar to remove the axle. It shouldn't be out of the tranny 1/4". The shaft should be pretty flush w/ the tranny. The could be why your getting the clunk noise it may be popping out again. Also, no need to grease you wheel bearing, those are sealed.
well when the first time the axle broke iwas turning left and then i lost all brake pressure and all of sudden i couldnt move and when i got out to check and my friend pressed the brake and the whole wheel moved in and out well wht happen the axle nut unscrewd and fell off and then with the movemnet of the car and the play of the screw the screw broke off got lucky my whel and rotor fell off well it didnt thank god but when i got it home i jacked it up and remove the wheel and the rotor fell anyways and exposed i thought they were the bearings cuz both pieces were the axle end goes in at fell out and i just grease them up before i put those piesces back together and put an axle on ...but u said u hit it at the end to make sure it was in right well was the lower ball joint still off or wht?

You may also have just gotten a bad axle. I used to work at autozone and had lifetime waranty on my axles. Sometimes rebuilt axles are hit and miss, you may get a good one that'll last years, and you may get one that is already bad before you even install it.
