RHD
hey guys i have a 1990 hatchback, im thinking about going rhd, but i have no one to do labor? does anyone know how to do it? let me know, i live in san diego cali

Hey bud this shop i went too said it would cost anywhere from 500-1000 to do the conversion if you have everything. Just go to body shops and they should give you a reasonably close quote on it.

haha.... unfortunately, hes right. your better off buying something RHD from Japan (real JDM). converting makes everything hard. drive throughs included... more importantly though, the rigidy/strength of the chassis/firewall. you get no performance ehancements... if anything, you drive slower because you are not use to shifting with your left and you lose out on about a G... which could go to much more useful areas. but do what you want.. its your car. Honestly though, I think converting to RHD is more ricier than underglow and body kits. the only reason a JDM ride is kool is because of the OEM specs they come with and keeping close to the honda roots.. not really how it looks. real RHD's are collectable also... you probably depreciate a LHD when you hack it up like that.. even though most of the people who do it ADD to the selling price... jackasses.

its deff cheaper to do a conversion.. but i think the whole RHD thing is dead..Its not a wow factor anymore and thats all it was really good for cuz it sure the hell isnt functional.... imo..
