Guage needle removal?
I did try and research this but i don't have a lot of time. How do I get the guage needles off or if anyone knows of a thread that has covered this a link would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance guys.
Well, I wouldn't think the year matters...
But the way I do it is get some real small flat head screw drivers, position them both under the needle on opposing sides, and just pop the entire needle up a little bit. They should come off pretty easily after you give them that initial pop.
I just did it earlier to fix a sticky speedometer needle. I put it on too tight after I painted my needles yellow.

no didn't break any, they popped right off, i used 2 of my biggest snap-on flat heads and did a quick pop and no problems. the whole thing was i was changing my guages to red with the whole tape and a sharpie meathod (lol) but but found out 2 of my bulbs where burned out when i got it all back together so now from the water temp to about 5K on the tach and 80mph to the fuel guage are nice and red and cant see the rest.
