I have a plan ... when I'll actually get to the darn thing is up in the air ... so for now I'm trying to collect information. Anyway on to the meat of the matter. I'm researching for an engine that I want to build ... a stroked b20 non-vtec. I was looking at the stroker kits from crower and then I did some research on potential problems. Any way I decided that the 95mm crank shaft would put more pressure on the sleeves than I wanted because of how off center the rods would be ... there would be more sideways force on sleeves than I think would be healthy for what I want. So for just a little extra displacement (and so I can end up with all forged internals with one kit) I think I'm going to go with the 92mm crank shaft. My question is ... with the increased stroke and CR (I plan to have it up around 11:1) do I NEED to resleeve the block? I'm planning on sticking with the stock bore (although if I have to resleeve I'll probably go ahead an bore it out a bit since I'll already have someone messing around in there anyway).
