Hi There
Im new here and could do with some help please.
Can i use a B18C(GSR) Crank With Stock B20 Rods In A B20.
My crank just gave up in the b20 and i have a mint b18c(gsr) crank sat here and was wondering if this would work.
Any help would be great.

Re: B20 With B18C Crank (dannyneedshelp)
yeah That would work fine! The deck height is a tad bit taller with the b20 block compared to the gsr block Thus = A little lower comp.
Might workout ok for ForcedI
Search for rods for that setup, I also was wanting to do this Kinda like a 84mm GSR
Im not sure if the block will need a line bore or not?

Re: B20 With B18C Crank (LastGenEK)
Where did you get your info? Wow.
The B18/B20 blocks all share the same deckheight of 8.347. The B18A/B & B20's have a longer stroke (by .118"), as well as wider big ends on their rods. Effectively decreasing the piston height by that much will seriously change compression. You'd have to get new rods to avoid that.
The only thing you'll end up with is a slightly higher theoretical redline and less displacement. Given many LS/V setups turn >9k, R/S is not something to really consider when displacement is on the line, and totally moot if you don't have the B18C's girdle.
