Got a Pretty good Deal on Speakers (I think)
Well I was out buying my mom her birthday present and I was at Pepboys. I always look at the clearence rack for audio stuff and I have been watching a pair of speakers for a while. The box was open, but that was it! The inside boxes werent even retaped, brand new unopened!
Even tho I am broke I decided to get these, because I was in need of an equlizer I believe so my speakers wouldnt distort when I turned up the volume, but i cant afford that, so I wired these into the rear speakers parallel. They worked wonders by getting rid of the distortion, and realy added the lows when the subs were off. My front speakers are fine, they are JBL Touring 2-way's and work realy well, because they have a factory backing, the three ways are hidden to the sides of the seats and you cant realy hear them, and they would distord for some reason (they are also JBL Touring but 3-ways) and so I just bought another set of speakers they happened to be 6"x9" and I mounted them on the rear deck that I made right behind the head wrests (yes I know it has to be cleaned) but that not only fixed the one problem, the highs are wonderful now! Its so nice to listen the my system now and not worry about the distortion.
Reatil: $129.99
Sale: $59.20
Sale again (a diff month) $39.99
I didnt think they would go any lower so I bought them.
They are Orion C693's Do you think I got a good deal?
I peeled back the sticker to see.

Orion products USED to be top-quality until they started making crappy products. I'm sure the speakers you got were somewhat decent. Just remember...."they don't make them like they used to".
