Default Clusters...

Hey my brother is thinking of switching to a Spoon cluster or a JDM cluster. However, he has one mian concern: how would you keep track of your real mileage (in case he sells his car)?

Thanks in advance.

Yea, personnaly I dont like screwing around with the mileage on cars. Seems to scare people away if you ever try to sell it.

Thats why I learned how to adjust the milage on clusters so when I change them out( what I do alot) I can set the original one back

Spoon gauges are sexy! In my case, there was only a 500km difference between the two odometers, so i was pretty lucky. But yeah, just write it down. And if the buyer doesn't understand why you swapped out the cluster, then he/she's not worthy enough to own an R.

YES

there are thousands of JDM cars in this country that have the stock dials converted to MPH. PM me if you want me to link you to some products.

buy a cheap JDM cluster and swap out his USDM speedo , then pop on the yellow dial. before doing so MAKE SURE to lift the needle ofver the little stop bar so it unwinds completely, then remove it.
I have this in my rig and has worked flawlessly thus far. accurate MPH and ODOmeter and still looks nice .

see cant even tell haha

lil somethin i found in my photobucket.
