This is the reason I hate Hondas and Acuras the most. It's not the rice boys that you get to chuckle at. It's really quite a shame that law enforcement really doesn't give a damn about car theft.

That really sucks.
To all of you guys who have track only cars:
You might concider race car insurance. I bought it before I shipped my car out from PA and had to file a claim after the upper ramp on the car carrier came down and settled of the roof of my car! $3800.00 damage paid with my race car policy. I was only out the $250.00 deductable.
Heacock/Parrish out of TN is a good outfit. A ton of the racers out here use them for their insurance.
Cost is about $250.00 per year. Coverage includes when the car is on the trailer, or in a garage, paddock and in the hot-pits only. No on track coverage.

matt....came back from summit to work on monday and 2 of teh cars that i had at the shop had been broken into.....stereo's gone and they stole the wing off another car....they left tools and ECUS well worth more than the stereos they stole!!!!!!

Matt...I'm so sorry man. i remember your car looked so nice at CMP. i hope you get everything straightened out as best as possible. i'd seriously like to kick those kids a$$e$ for that. hope you're doing ok though...i know it can be a traumatic loss. just look towards the future and what it holds in store for you.

I'm really sorry about your loss Matt. On the bright side at least the suspension and chassis were recovered. I hope this doesn't hurt the rest of you race season.
I think as Honda Challenge gets more popular and because of the already rampant Honda theft all of us are gonna have to step up security on our track/race cars. I don't know what to say for people like Matt who got their stuff stolen from a garage but I guess we should all start looking into insurance

Unbelievable. Considering it's probably the same Grand Theft Auto rap if you steal a Honda or a Mercedes, why would anyone steal a 10+ year old car just for a motor and transaxle you could buy for a few hundred $ anyway? I don't know whether I'm more mad at the idiots for messing up Matt's car, or puzzled at their stupidity. Someone please take them off the street before they breed.

Really sorry to hear about you loss ... I've been away for a bit and come back to the board to read this ... damn ... I remember staring at the *** end of this car on the trailer all the way from Richmond to Danville. Hope they catch and *successfully* prosecute the thieves!
