Default Connecting Rod Question

Just wanted to find out what RPM stock Rods are capable of handling versus Eagle H-Beams and any other percs. Currently doing a rebuild and need to figure out if I want to replace OEM for Eagle.

Sorry for the delay. Right now I am going N/A. I am hoping to get around 190hp (B18B). Later I hope to go most likely turbo but supercharge is an option and with that I want around 300hp.

Right now when my engine is finished it will have CP Pistons, ported polished head, header, exhaust, possibly cams, im, tb, and I think 1 or 2 more things that I am not thinking of.

CP Pistons = floating wrist pins....just get some eagles and rock out. That way you dont have to worry about the rods later in life. The stock rods are fine RPM wise (atleast with ARP rod bolts), however the 300hp is a bit more worry-some. Not saying stock LS rods cant hold it, just saying that Eagles give you a little more room for error.

If you're going to rebuild with boost in your future, you need to plan ahead and decide on a good compression ratio for your goals, setup and fuel. Personally, i think a built engine would be wasted if you supercharge it. There isn't much potential in a JRSC'd Honda compared to a good turbo setup...especially on a 500whp capable engine

Alright... Not looking for 500hp. Knew someone around that and they had a hard time getting traction with drags. Never saw it myself, just word of mouth.
