you can do what im doing, you make little metal tabs that are strong enough to hold the fan and you make them angled and long enough to reach from the fan to where the stock fans supposed to bolt to your radiator... i got the idea off a pic on ebay... take a look...

*** zip ties!!!!!!! bolt the fan to the radiator. Before i went turbo, i had the full size aluminum radiator, w/ the 12" slim fan. What I did was by four brackets that had holes so that I can best fit the fan to the radiator. It worked really well!!! should cost no more then a few bucks. i liked it better without the zip ties.

that is the same exact mounting kit that i used on mine, except i found no use for the padded stickers. It seems as tho it would work fine. Installation is also a breeze.

i actually used heavy duty zip ties... i just didnt tighten them super tight... they are firm but have enough slack so that they dont just snap from extra pressures of any kind...

my zip ties have held up for 2 years and counting.

ill have to borrow my gfs digi cam cause i dont have one but ill try to take pics sometime this week along with the type of zip ties i used...

I stuck mine right through the fins. I tightened them enough where the fins kind of held their shape. I'll try to take a picture later.
