Default milkshakey oil

I recently had a vacuum hose mixed with a coolant hose and it turned my oil milky. I corrected the problem but now my car is still smoking white smoke but it does not smell like coolant anymore it smells like somethings burning. What could it be.

You had a vacuum hose mixed with a coolant hose? Yikes.

I would take off the head and examine the damage.

omfg

that was quite a bit of confusion.

post some pics, please
which hoses did you mix up?

this might be worthy of some addition to a sticky

oh and BTW

Change your oil now!
dont try to "burn off" the water

check your coolant as well, you may need to change that too

Did you switch a vacuum hose with the hose to the overflow res? I thought I read somewhere about someone doing that and am just dumbfounded that someone could be so bright.

Edit: Turns out it was you... with the same thread posted a few days ago. Why does it take 2? https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/2232021

yeah
just to be sure.... the big thing in front of the engine, with the fans on it, is NOT the oil tank!

No I didnt switch a vacuum hose with the coolant res hose. But as you know (at least I hope you do) all the coolant lines are connected somehow. I had a line running from the eacv to the vacuum hose on the back drivers side of the im.

Do a oil change and a complete coolant system flush and report back to us.

When the car is running antifreeze is sucked from the resevoir so quick. You can hear the vacuum. Its sucking antifreeze into my motor and smoking like crazy. anybody have experience with the z6 im or have this problem b4 please let me kno.

But there is vacuum coming from my coolant resevoir hose. </TD></TR></TABLE>

This is one of the best 'I effed up my car' threads ever.....

Takes a man to own up to a mistake. And a kid to point out the obvious.

That coolant can get into every nook and cranny of the intake system. Can take forever to clear out completely. It'll be a bood idea to get a big can of carb cleaner. You can spray that directly into your throttle body. (take off filter stuff first).

It'll clean out the gunk. And won't smell as bad as burning coolant either.
