I am running Axxis ultimates on my si hatch with a Fastbrakes front big brake setup and rear disc swap and while the stop the car on a dime cold or hot they are VERY dusty as in 2 days after I wash the car there is noticeable dust on the wheels.I was told they dusted quite a bit for the first few hundred miles then they improved well 3500 miles later still very dusty.....but damn do they stop well
yeah, it's a ex and i still have the drum rears. oem honda pads, no squeak at all(but still make sure to put brake lube/grease on parts that need it). haven't had a problem with them yet. had them for two years and with two seasons and still have good padding left. but my driving style might be different then yours.
ok thanks for the nice feedback
my exp will vary from yours 90_EX_Civic, from what I do know of crx's they are front brake eaters under the best of conditions, relatively speaking

HF rotors and calipers are smaller and lighter than DX/SI rotors and calipers. But DX/SI brakes CAN be used on HF knuckles. As for the pads, I would recommend nothing but Honda brake pads for a daily driver. Aftermarket pads tend to be on the abrasive side, and tend to both wear quickly AND eat rotors along with them.
