so i was curious about the ws2...i was lookin for it for a 2001 gsr...but i couldn't find ****..i was thinkin...do they even fabricate it for the 01 gsr trim? if not, can i put a different year or trim ws2 on the 01 gsr? and does anyone know if its just the muffler or if it is catback? i kno it may sound like a stupid question but jdm gsr owner in need of help pls

Im pretty sure they're all the same. If they made it for a 94-97 GSR it should still fit. If you get the catback then its the whole pipe going to the header. If you buy an axle back its just the muffler part.

Not sure, but in 00-01 Acura shortened the exhaust manifold for the GS-R so I don't think older catbacks will fit (without modifying it). I hope that helps.

If thats true then just buy an axle back and get a muffler shop to custom fabricate piping for it.

can they really do that? like just a random muffler shop? i figured it'd at least have to be a tuner shop or performance shop

My friend bought one for his 96 Civic Hatch , and decided not to use it , so i copped it and went to a muffler shop and got Mendrobent piping to the Ws2 muffler and have had it ever since , rides nice and quiet .... Couldnt ask for a better exhaust imo.

The axleback might not fit on the hangars (complete guess) properly but a muffler shop should be able to fix any problems you run into.

Alright,

1994-2001 Acura Integra GS RS LS & 00-01 GS-R's Header to Catback are interchangable.

94-99 GS-R's will not.
